Lire l'histoire du Breed BIS →At a regular FIFe show, the Sacred Birman competes with the other breeds in Category 1 for Best in Show. With a Breed BIS, the Sacred Birman has its own separate Best in Show.

The cats are first judged as usual according to the FIFe standard. The best Sacred Birmans may then be nominated for Breed BIS, where they meet the other nominated Birmans in the final Best in Show.
An official FIFe Breed BIS requires at least 40 cats of the breed in classes 1–12. At the same time, there must be at least 30 cats of the other breeds in the relevant category in classes 1–12. The show organiser always decides whether a Breed BIS will be held.

When a breed has a Breed BIS, it does not compete in the regular Best in Show for its category that day. Breed BIS titles have full validity towards the FIFe titles DSM, DSW and JW.
Practical information and the fun parts are gathered in three clear sections.
